We are seeking detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Specialist to join our dynamic team at Wilton Patisserie. The HR Specialist will be instrumental in supporting our staff and ensuring that our workplace remains a positive, inclusive, and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Staffing:
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
- Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new hires.
- Manage employee relations and retention strategies.
2. Employee Management:
- Oversee employee relations, addressing any workplace issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Administer employee benefits, payroll, and leave policies.
- Conduct performance review processes and manage career development plans.
3. Policy Development and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Advise management on HR issues and best practices.
4. Workplace Culture:
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Implement initiatives to increase employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Organize team-building activities and events.
5. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Prepare HR reports and analyze data for decision-making.
- Coordinate with the management team to align HR strategies with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Human Resources.
