This means the EOS R5 can recognise and track a subject’s face and eyes with new levels of accuracy, even when the subject is in profile. This tracking capability is also available when photographing dogs, cats and birds, so these subjects too stay in perfect focus as they move – a first for EOS cameras.

The EOS R5 features always-on Bluetooth low energy connectivity, so it’s always in touch with a smart device. Simply launch the Canon Camera Connect app and the camera will establish a fast Wi-Fi connection, allowing photographers to review, control and transfer images, as well as shoot remotely.
