Immigration specialist at punin group
The Migration Specialist will be responsible for managing and facilitating migration processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to migrants and asylum seekers. The role requires strong analytical skills, cultural sensitivity, and a thorough understanding of migration policies.
Responsibilities:
Immigration and Compliance:
Serve as the main point of contact for all immigration-related matters within the organization.
Advise employees and management on immigration procedures and policy compliance.
Prepare and file immigration applications, including work permits, visas, and residency applications.
Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations and ensure company policies are compliant.
Coordinate with external immigration lawyers and consultants as needed.
Labour Duties:
Complete and Submit forms to the Labour Office.
Maintain regular communication with the Labour Office.
Collaborate with the Labour Office to attract and source potential candidates.
Keep detailed and secure records of all submissions.
License Duties:
Oversee and Manage all company and employee certifications relevant to HORECA industry.
Obtain necessary certifications, ensuring compliance with industry standarts.
Track expiration dates and ensure to maintain compliance.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all necessary certifications are acquired and maintained.
Assist employees in the process of obtaining and renewing their certification.
Employee Relocation Support:
Assist with the relocation process for international hires, including housing, transportation, and cultural integration.
Provide ongoing support to international employees, addressing any immigration or relocation concerns.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and immigration records.
Establish HR-related procedures and processes.
Prepare reports on recruitment metrics and immigration activities for senior management.
Ensure all recruitment and immigration practices adhere to legal and ethical standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Migration Specialist position
Strong understanding of migration laws and policies
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in English at a B2 level (Greek is a plus)
