The teleprompter utilizes any Android or iOS smartphone running the downloadable Parrot Teleprompter app, or other teleprompting app, and the 70/30 beamsplitter glass clearly displays your text.
The setup is quick and easy. The Padcaster comes with 13 step-down rings in 37, 40.5, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72, 77, and 82mm sizes, which allow the hood to be mounted onto most threaded lenses. Your smartphone easily slips into the tray below the hood and clamps in place under the glass. A Bluetooth remote that pairs with your phone is included to start, pause, speed up, slow down, or stop the scroll, increase or decrease font size, and even control other media apps like a music player.
