GrowBase XT is the control center for the ambitious gardener: The four sockets enable the operation of many different devices because they can be set to different functions. This ensures a high level of flexibility even with changing setups. In addition to the basic functions of temperature and humidity control, the CO² content can also be regulated.

The climate controller keeps the temperature and humidity in the grow room constantly at the desired value. The controller ensures an even negative pressure to prevent odors from escaping. In addition, time switching functions (interval and 24h) are available. One of the sockets can be loaded with up to 2,300 watts, which enables the connection of fan heaters.

The climate controller has four sockets that are intended for connecting the following devices:

Supply air fans / Exhaust fans / lampsv / humidifier / Dehumidifier / irrigation pumps / Circulation fans / electric heaters / Heating mats / CO² valves.

The function of three of the four sockets can be selected via the multilingual menu (English, German). The speed of the supply and exhaust fans is varied by the controller according to the set values. Different speeds can be selected for day and night.

GrowBase XT provides various information such as current temperature, current humidity, min/max values ​​for temperature and humidity as well as current fan speeds.

The set values ​​are saved so that they are available again after a power failure or after a temporary shutdown.

The climate controller is able to regulate the temperature and humidity in the plant room to an accuracy of ±0.5 °C and ±1% RH.**

Four modes are available for dehumidification via the exhaust air:

low - If the set humidity is exceeded by 10%RH, the air flow is increased. A deviation of -1.5°C from the target temperature is permitted.

high - If the set humidity is exceeded by 5%RH, the air flow is increased. A deviation of -3°C from the target temperature is permitted.

high&heat - In addition to the function of the "high" mode, if the set humidity is exceeded by 5%RH, the connected heater is switched on, provided the measured temperature is below the desired temperature. Explanation: The air humidity is physically dependent on the temperature in such a way that the air humidity drops when heating.

off - The air flow is not increased if the set humidity is exceeded.

During the night phase, when the warming lamps are off, the temperature deviation is not taken into account. This keeps the humidity under control even at night.

CO² mode:

To enrich the air with CO², a valve is opened for the time required to reach a certain CO² concentration.

The device calculates how long the valve must be opened from the values ​​entered in the menu: CO² concentration (ppm), room volume, CO² flow at the pressure reducer).

The speeds of the fans can be selected separately for the CO² phase. (It makes sense to switch off the supply and exhaust air.) This CO² mode therefore does not require a CO² sensor. A CO² cycle runs as follows, depending on the settings:

1. Wait until the fans stop rotating

2. Open the CO² valve for a few seconds

3. Wait a few minutes until the plants have absorbed the CO²

4. Exchange the room air

5. Restart at 1.

The CO² release only takes place during the day phase.

The climate controller is delivered in a splash-proof (IP54) housing including a wall bracket and is ready for use immediately. A detailed operating manual in German is included with the device. The digital humidity and temperature sensor is equipped with a 5m long cable.
