XVIII century. 1758 - 1793 Rococo style.

Period of Duke Carl Eugen (1744-1793), mark used between 1759 and 1762.

Rarity!

The unique beauty and brilliance of the Rococo era, which has come down to our times in the luxurious plasticity of the noble Lady with a basket of flowers, produced by the Ludwigsburg Porcelain Manufactory Ludwigsburger Porzellan-Fabrik, Germany. Glazed porcelain. The sculpture was made during the reign of Charles Eugene of Württemberg - Duke of Württemberg in 1737-1793.

On the bottom of the sculpture is an underglaze blue mark used by the Ludwigsburger Porzellan-Fabrik between 1758 and 1793. (according to PM&M stamp catalog)

The overglaze painting of the figure is made by hand.

Amazing clear detailing in modeling and painting!

Height 22 cm. Width 9 cm.

Considering the past years, very worthy, excellent collectible condition! Among the shortcomings: chipped fingers on the left hand, a chip in the ear of the basket, a crack in the dressing at the bottom. There are no traces of restoration or any interventions.

This figure fully reflects the outstanding sculptural plasticity of the Ludwigsburg Porcelain Manufactory - the luxury of ducal table decorations, which reveals to the true connoisseur the culture and intellectual world of the Rococo era.

The sculpture of Ludwigsburger Porzellan-Fabrik was presented to the fullest extent at the Museum of Applied Arts Cologne in the only special exhibition in Germany on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the manufactory.

Ludwigsburger Porzellan-Fabrik - the largest German porcelain manufacturer of the 18th century was founded by Duke Karl Eugen of Württemberg on April 5, 1758 in Ludwigsburg.
