Rare! Very beautiful porcelain sculpture of a grinning wolf. Produced at the beginning of the 20th century at the most expensive and famous German manufactory Meissen Porcelain Manufactory. Incredibly realistic plastic. Precise elaboration of small details of the sculpture.
the model attributed to Johann Joachim Kaendler.
Kaendler modelled the first wolf for Meissen (an Indian wolf) in July 1734 based on the wolves kept live and stuffed by the Saxon court.
Made from white glazed porcelain.
At the bottom of the figure there is a blue underglaze mark of Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, used from 1924 to 1934 of the last century (Max Adolf Pfeiffer era).

Excellent collectible condition. The figurine is completely intact. There are no acquired injuries. No chips, cracks, microcracks, abrasions, traces of restoration. Of the production nuances, there is a tiny dot from firing on the ear and inside the sculpture on the rear paw of the wolf, which he tucked under him, there is a crack from firing.
