Satsuma porcelain

Large, luxurious and exquisite sculpture Guanyin is made of magnificent glazed porcelain. The sculpture is decorated with a three-dimensional ornament. The abundant gold plating and the rich multi-colour painting of the sculpture are made by hand.

Judging by the red stamp applied to the bottom of the sculpture by hand, the satsuma porcelain sculpture is made by the Precious Meiji/Taisho period and dates back to 1868-1912. Marked 'Kinzan'

Excellent collectible condition! No acquired defects. No chips, cracks, scratches, visible defects. For a large sculpture of this age, the preservation is truly unique! There is a slight wear of the gold coating, due to the venerable age of the sculpture.
