I offer a QUAD 405 legendary British power amplifier, amazing sounding.
2x100W.
Good condition for the age with the usual scratches (see pictures).
It is playing very nice and loud with my Magneplanar 1.6QR (as in the video) although it is recommended for 8ohm speakers.
I have replaced the power supply caps with same value (10000 uF, 63V) new F&T LFA caps, made in Germany.
Also I have replaced the C5 and C10 caps with Nichicon Gold and the C2 tantalum caps in both channels.
Lastly I have replaced the old binding posts with good quality EIZZ EZ-301 Gold plated OFC Copper Binding posts that accept banana and spades type speaker cable connectors.
It comes with gold plated RCA inputs.
Of course because I’m a private seller, there is no guarantee.

Also I have a very nice QUAD 44 Preamp, in case that someone wants to match those but this needs some minor service.
