Lauberger & gloss grand antique piano

A vintage classic baby grand piano, made by the Viennese Lauberger & Gloss piano factory (around 100 years old). The piano was given the name “BRAHMS”, after the well-known composer.
Visually, the piano is seriously damaged, it is non-functional, and much repair is required (major cosmetic and mechanical difficulties).
It might be used for exhibitions, or other artistic purposes, as it is a beautiful piece of art (check the artistic "piano-shelf" photo, taken from the 'Creative Design' FB group-posted on the 24th January 2024 ).

Lauberger & Gloss was an internationally well-known brand and one of the most important piano manufacturers in Austria, founded in 1881 in Wien. The company was awarded the "Royal Court Piano Factory". With agencies all over the world, from London and Paris to Sydney and Alexandria, Moscow, Sao Paulo and Odessa to Johannesburg and Bandoeng in Indonesia. After the Second World War, the company never recovered. As early as the 1950s, the company's economic difficulties were obvious. After the war, the workforce was only around 20 people. They stopped manufacturing in the 60s and they ceased operation in the early 1980s. The production of the Königliche-Hof-Pianoforte Fabriken Lauberger & Gloss was concentrated on the production of salon grand pianos, upright pianos, and upright pianos. The pianos were given names after famous composers.
