Subaru Impreza 2,1L 1997
1997 Subaru Impreza WRX that I have owned since 1998. This was my daily driver in Sydney and I imported it to Cyprus when I moved in 2001. It was kept as is until 2006 when it was stripped and weld in cage installed. Fully stripped out and lightweight. IT IS NOT A ROAD CAR AND CANNOT BE CONVERTED BACK.
It is ready to go apart from maybe a new ECU to make mapping a bit easier and a newer turbo for better response.
Engine - bought a newly rebuilt, by Steven Darley, 2.1 close deck block, with Omega pistons and I added it to my existing modified WRX heads with JUN 272 cams, 1000cc ID injectors, rotated turbo with GT3071r, Turbosmart wastegate and screamer pipe. Engine has only been run in. Baffled RCM sump, Cusco exhaust manifold, Apexi 3 inch lightweight stainless steel exhaust.
PWR aluminium radiator, Micks Metalcraft custom intercooler, oil cooler, ATL 20 litre FIA spec fuel cell, twin Bosch Motorsport fuel pumps with all new lines.
KAD Scoobysport 330mm 6 piston front brakes, rear 2pot Subaru brakes. Rear is R180. Kaaz rear and front diff plus Quaife centre diff. PPG dog gearset 5 speed with Exedy twin plate clutch.
AST 3 way suspension with lots of Whiteline product.
Electromotive TEC3 ECU with custom wiring loom.
Plastics4Perfromance window kit. 5mm front door, 4mm rear doors and rear screen with slider kit for a rhd car and edge stiffener plates. Not fitted and still in box.
Custom wide arch bodykit, very light fibreglass boot lid, aluminium bonnet. Repainted. Have original rear brake lights as well.
New Rota 18x9.5 et35 wheels with new Yohohama A052 in 265/40 size.
