**DESCRIPTION**
Nine Men's Morris Strategy game was first played in the Roman Empire, the two players would places nine stones along one of two diagonal lines with the target to block the opponent's movements. The game is also known as nine-man morris, mill, mills, and the mill game.
The Nine Men's Morris Strategy Game has a grid of 24 holes, with 9 pegs assigned to each player. Players try to create "mills": meaning 3 of the same colored pegs lined up in a row. Yes, just like in tic-tac-toe. The game has two phases, first players placing their pegs on the board, and second when players are moving on the board. Creating a mill allows you to remove one of your opponent’s pegs from the board. After the players have placed all their pegs on the board, the second phase begins. The goal is the same, but players can now move their pegs to an adjacent point in any direction on the grid line. Here is a game that unravels and reveals more complexity as you learn! When a player is left with three pegs, they can move anywhere on the board (from any point to any empty point).
Nine Men's Morris comes with a beautiful, handcrafted wooden board combined with a convenient lid to contain all pieces and ensure that you can enjoy this game again and again
