A REALLY NICE PACK OF ORIGINAL VINTAGE ART DECO PLAYING CARDS ' CLOUDS IN THE WEST ' DATING FROM THE 1930's AND MADE BY THOMAS DE LA RUE. THIS IS A FULL SET OF CARDS WITH A LINEN GRAIN FINISH COMPLETE WITH BOTH JOKERS AND IN THE ORIGINAL BOX WITH THE LABEL STILL IN THE LID STATING THAT THEY WERE SUPPLIERS OF PLAYING CARDS TO H.M KING GEORGE VI. THE BOX IS CLEVERLY MADE OUT OF TEXTURED CARD THAT GIVES IT THE LOOK AND FEEL OF SHAGREEN. BOTH THE CARDS AND THE BOX ARE IN A REALLY GOOD CONDITION FOR THEIR AGE. THE CARDS HAVE BEEN LITTLE USED AND DO NOT SHOW MUCH SIGNS OF WEAR. THEY HAVE NO RIPS, TEARS OR TATTY CORNERS. THE BOX IS A LITTLE WORN BUT REALLY NOT BAD AT ALL, IT FITS TOGETHER WELL WITH THE LID STILL ATTACHED TO THE BOX AS IT SHOULD BE. THIS IS A REALLY NICE SET OF VINTAGE CARDS FOR ANY COLLECTOR AS IT IS QUITE RARE FOR THEM TO BE ALL COMPLETE AND STILL RETAIN THE ORIGINAL BOX. EACH CARD MEASURES APPROX 9x6cms WITH A TOTAL WEIGHT INCLUDING THE BOX OF 123grm
