Η αρμαρόλλα αποτελούσε είδος αποθηκευτικού ερμαριού της κουζίνας. Μικρά ερμάρια, γνωστά ως αρμαρολλούες, χρησίμευαν για την αποθήκευση τροφίμων, όπως τυριών, ψωμιών, αλλαντικών και άλλων. Είχαν ξύλινο πλαίσιο και ανοικτές πλευρές, καλυμμένες με αραιό πλέγμα από μεταξωτό ύφασμα ή άλλο υλικό, και κρέμονταν από την οροφή με σχοινί, για προστασία αλλά και καλό αερισμό των τροφίμων.
