~Butterfly ‘Rozena’ released on April 2017 is a new generation tension rubber optimized for entry level players. It is also the low cost version of Butterfly ‘Tenergy’ series which is the representative rubber family of Butterfly at that time. While utilizing the technology of ‘Tenergy’ series, ‘Rozena’ is concentrating on ‘Tolerance’ instead of spin or speed for reducing the mistake when it is used by entry level table tennis players whose skill level is still low. ‘Rozena’ adapts the ‘Spring Sponge’ of ‘Tenergy’ series, but the sponge density of ‘Rozena’ is 35 degree (= around 46 degree under ESN standard) which is one degree lower than that of regular ‘Tenergy 05’ or ‘Tenergy 64’. And, the pimple arrangement of ‘Rozena’ is somewhere between ‘Tenergy 05’ and ‘Tenergy 64’, and as the result the top sheet of ‘Rozena’ provides totally different characteristics when compared with ‘Tenergy 05’ or ‘Tenergy 64’. According to the new performance indices that Butterfly renewed for the first time in 30 years with the announcement of ‘Glazer’ series, the spin or speed of ‘Rozena’ is so so. However, ‘Rozena’ has gained great popularity among ordinary players thanks to its high ease of use and reasonable price as Butterfly rubber.
