Beautiful vintage Victorian style large silver locket with Marcasite and Amethyst 💜
This is a superb quality rectangular locket made from solid Sterling Silver, and has the 925 stamp inside.
This beauty has a superbly crafted front with an open Filigree swirl design, encrusted with beautiful Marcasite stones and a channel mounted Amethyst. The reverse is plain so could have initials or a message engraved there. The bale is also decorative and has a Marcasite stone added for extra splendor. This fabulous piece is in used vintage condition, the catch is tight and secure. The locket opens up for you place a photograph or a love note from a loved one close to your heart at all times.
The locket measures - 3cm (4cm including the bale) by 2.5cm. Weight is approx 15 grams.
I am not exactly sure on age, but I bought it myself from a vintage jewellery shop in the late 80s. Comes in a small gift box, €110
