Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of both the front shop and kitchen at Wilton Coffee Restaurant. This pivotal role requires excellent leadership skills to manage staff, maintain inventory, ensure health and safety compliance, and create efficient schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Supervise daily activities in both the front shop and kitchen to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor staff performance and address any issues promptly.
Act as a point of contact between management and team members.
Scheduling and Staff Management
Create and manage the shop’s weekly staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
Organize and coordinate staff assignments and responsibilities for both the front shop and kitchen.
Train and guide team members on best practices, customer service, and operational procedures.
Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies and ingredients for both the front shop and kitchen.
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
Health and Safety Compliance
Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations in the shop and kitchen.
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions when needed.
Provide training to staff on hygiene and safety procedures.
Customer Service
Maintain high standards of customer service in the front shop.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Ensure the store environment is welcoming, clean, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of inventory management and scheduling.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a restaurant environment.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
