AVLIDA HOTEL IS LOOKING TO HIRE PURCHASING MANAGER / STOREKEEPER WHO WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PURCHASING GOODS REQUIRED , STORING ,ORGANISING AND KEEPING TRACK OF GOODS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED.THIS INCLUDES IDENTIFYING SUPPLIERS,NEGOTIATING PRICES,MANAGING PURCHASE ORDER ,MAINTAIN PROPER STOCK LEVELS AND ENSURING SAFE AND ORGANISED STORAGE AREAS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Managing hotel’s store

Complete store operations

Maintaining proper inventory record of stock movements

Receive and forward all goods and deliveries in and out of the hotel to the correct point of contact/storage area.

Able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation.

Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels.

Responsible for storage of both food & beverage and operational stock.

Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.

Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.

Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation

-Financial and report maintenance

Timely generation of monthly statements

Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs.

Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly.

Responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.

-Responsible for the day-to-day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.

Ensure all store requisitions are signed by concerned Department Heads (HOD’s) and approved by CFO/DGM depending upon the hotel's operations procedure.

Custodian of store documentation, files

Monitor the load and unload various stock items as required.

Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, unload trucks and ensure that the products are stored safely and in good condition

Requirements:

Highly self-driven with demonstrated accountability

Commitment to working towards the betterment of the hotel’s policies

Ethics and professionalism

Must have proven ability to work independently.

Inventory taking and record keeping is an added advantage.

English or Greek

At least 2-3 years in a similar position.

Computer Knowledge with skills on MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Bachelor’s degree in any field.
