Warehouse assistant

Our client, a rapidly growing organization dedicated to providing candle-makers with top-quality wax and other candle-making supplies, is currently looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Officer, who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and logistics management.Job ResponsibilitiesResearch potential vendors, comparing and evaluating offersNegotiate contract terms of agreement and pricingTrack orders and ensure timely deliveryReview quality of purchased productsMaintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoicesPrepare reports on purchases, including cost analysesManage inventory and place orders as neededCoordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storageQuality Control – Review orders before they are shipped outRequirements BSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant fieldProven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role preferredGood knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP B1) will be considered an advantageUnderstanding of supply chain proceduresSolid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysesExcellent communication skills in English and GreekNegotiation skillsStrong organisational skillsEnthusiastic and cooperative nature What They OfferAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and previous experience.Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 or 08:00 to 16:00Benefits: 13th Salary
